The enormous tatue of Lord Buddha, situated on the Mount of Tian Tan in Ngong Ping on the Lantau Island of Hong Kong is one of the top tourist attractions. This majestic statue is made up of bronze sits on a lotus throne, which is placed on a three platform altar. This resembles the pleasant relationship between man and nature and also people and religion. This place is one of the key centers of Buddhism in Hong Kong and also a very religious tourist destination. The statue highlight the culture of Hong Kong which in turn attract tourists from all over the world. These statues make the Mount Tian Tan one of the most beautiful places to visit in Hong Kong. The view of the statue from all the sides is too beautiful to resist. This is a must visit destination when you visit HongKong.

• Climb up 268stairs of this mountain to reach and take a look at the entire structure.
• Travel by cable car which is a thrilling experience.
• Enjoy a vegetarian lunch cooked by monks living there.

• You must see the huge Tian Tan Buddha statue and the statues of Six Devas around it offering flowers, incense, lamp, ointment, fruits and music to Buddha.
• The three floors beneath the Buddha statue consist of, The Hall of Universe on the first level, The Hall of Benevolent Merit on the second and the third level is known for the Relic of Gautama Buddha that contains the cremated remains of Buddha.
• Visit the main temple that has dragons and Chinese mythical figures painted inside.
How to get to the temple:
The closest railway station to the beautiful statue is Tung Chung Station from the station you can take a bus or a cab to get to the site fast.
